Called to a Practical Holy Life

Life is a journey to be taken step by step and the goal is clearly spelled out in Scripture: “Just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’’’ (1 Peter 1:15, 16). What does it mean to be holy? What are some of the practical steps I can take to achieve that goal? How can I deal with some of the problem areas in my life?

This book is an attempt to answer some of these questions by the grace of God and the experience of those who have gone before us. As believers we know that throughout our journey we are assured of the accompaniment and help of the Lord Jesus. He assured us: “Surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). It is in His strength that we will achieve the goal and resolve the problem areas of our lives. Thank the Lord there are no limits to what He can and will do as we yield ourselves wholeheartedly to Him.
